 In a determined effort to enforce traffic regulations and safeguard public safety, authorities in Srinagar have initiated a robust crackdown on minor drivers operating e-rickshaws. The drive, led by the Deputy Superintendent of Traffic Police Srinagar, Mehboob Ul Haq, resulted in the seizure of 25 e-rickshaws on a recent Saturday.

This special drive, undertaken by the traffic department, aims to ensure strict adherence to traffic norms, particularly focusing on those operating vehicles without a valid license. Deputy Superintendent Mehboob Ul Haq emphasized the significance of upholding the law and expressed concern over the involvement of minors in driving these electric rickshaws.
